From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, with our host going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The staff greeted us warmly, had our room keys ready, and even took the time to make dinner reservations for us at the hotel's elegant restaurant, which was absolutely fantastic.The rooms at Kasteel Van Nieuwland were spacious and beautifully decorated. I stayed in the Zagreb room, which was not only massive but also incredibly comfortable. The luxurious bathroom with a steam shower and massage jets was a real highlight, adding an extra touch of relaxation to our stay.We thoroughly enjoyed the range of drinks available in the bar, including delicious cocktails, which we sipped on while admiring the peaceful grounds with a charming pond. The serene surroundings of the hotel, surrounded by nature, truly made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The proximity to Aarschot and the Demer river allowed us to take leisurely walks and explore the natural beauty of the area. The only thing that could have made our stay even better would have been a shuttle or taxi service to the Aarschot train station, but the owner kindly gave us a lift when needed. The combination of impeccable service, comfortable rooms, and stunning surroundings made our Easter getaway a delight. We're already looking forward to our next visit to this hidden gem in the heart of Belgium.
